SWG - Solomon Ratt

The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild presents What do our Traditional Stories Tell Us? with Solomon Ratt, hosted by Erica Violet Lee. Solomon will tell a few stories in Cree and English, he will stop after each story to discuss some of the lessons that are included in the story.

Solomon is a Residential School survivor. After attending school in Prince Albert, he attended the University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina. He is an educator, and teaches Cree Language & Cree Literature at the First Nations University. He has also published several books in Cree. Solomon knows the traditional stories that have been passed down through generations, and he loves stories and storytelling.
